On the football recruiting front, athlete Ju’Juan Johnson of Lafayette Christian Academy will publicly commit to one of his three finalists during a ceremony at his school. We have Johnson ranked No. 2 on our list of Top Louisiana Prospects for 2024 and would love to see him choose LSU, but the timing of his announcement — and the chatter we’ve been hearing — suggests that’s unlikely.
