Turning to football, sources have confirmed that running back John Emery did not declare for the NFL draft and is set to return to LSU for another season. After sitting out all of 2021 and missing the first two games of 2022 due to academics, Emery rushed for 370 yards on 76 carries for an average of 4.86 yards per carry the past fall. That’s not bad, but I think it only scratches the surface of Emery’s potential.
