The LSU football team will depart for Orlando at 2 p.m. today, six days ahead of facing Purdue in the Jan. 2 Citrus Bowl. Coach Kelly said they’re leaving early so that the team can have some time to enjoy the opportunity they’ve earned. Later this week, they’ll jump back into their Game Week routine. This one will be a bit different, according to Kelly, because the team has already gone through a traditional week of preparation for Purdue and will duplicate it at the bowl site.
