Wingo was one of the big revelations for the team this year. When Maason Smith went down, everyone groaned at the fact that LSU lost a potential All-American at the very start of the season. While they did lose him, they were able to replace him with another All-American, as Wingo was recently named to the third team. He was also on the All-SEC second team.
