The blue-chip defensive back out of Arlington (Texas) Martin announced his pledge to play for the Tigers on Thursday over an offer list that included Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon.
“The culture that Brian Kelly is building, the things that they’re doing in year one is truly remarkable,” Toviano told 247Sports. “You see the corner room and see three guys declaring for the NFL draft and its guys that came from ULM and the University of Louisiana and other places, and a guy like Jay Ward that stayed there and gutted it out, guys that didn’t have the best story and you the see developmental piece and what they did with them, it made it easy for me to know I’d be developed there.”
