Daniels won the job out of fall camp and held onto it for the entire season despite what a lot of people expected to happen. There was not back and forth at the position, he did a good job of making it clear that he had to be on the field for the team to succeed. There were a lot of feelings that he could not get back to the production of his freshman year at Arizona State, but he had his best career year in the SEC.
