As most have you have heard by now, LSU (9-4) finished 16th in the final AP poll and will play Purdue (8-5) in the Citrus Bowl on Jan. 2. The game will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET (noon CT) and will be televised by ABC. A couple of interesting things to note about the draw is that this will be the first of two consecutive LSU games in Camping World Stadium, as the Tigers are set to open the 2023 season there against Florida State in September. Also, the last time LSU played in that venue was on January 1, 2018 when LSU lost 21-17 to Brian Kelly’s Notre Dame team.
