LSU football: Everything Brian Kelly, players said after 50-30 loss to Georgia in SEC title game

The No. 14 LSU Tigers had a slim margin for error against the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC championship game on Saturday. But the Tigers were doomed by early mistakes, which allowed the Bulldogs to pull away in the first half and ultimately secure a 50-30 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The Tigers’ first major miscue of the night came on special teams as the Bulldogs blocked an early field goal and returned it 96 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring. LSU scored on the next drive to tie the game, but the Bulldogs responded with four straight touchdowns to open up a 35-10 lead at the halftime break.
