The No. 14 LSU Tigers had a slim margin for error against the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC championship game on Saturday. But the Tigers were doomed by early mistakes, which allowed the Bulldogs to pull away in the first half and ultimately secure a 50-30 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

LSU scored on the next drive to tie the game, but the Bulldogs responded with four straight touchdowns to open up a 35-10 lead at the halftime break.
