Red Beaulieu, the Assistant to the Deputy SEC Commissioner, announced that the LSU versus Alabama game will be a full price, pay-per-view event in order to make up for lost revenue due to COVID-19.
In a statement released Tuesday night, the SEC stated, “We are attempting to make the best out of a bad and unfortunate situation in order to help raise additional funding for the conference and our student body.”
In an interview after the statement was released, Mr. Beaulieu remarked, “That’s kinda like my old man told me one time. The only thing better than a crawfish dinner, is five crawfish dinners.”
