LSU, Tiger Athletic Foundation officials pleased with football season ticket renewals

LSU is not immune to the attendance decline sweeping college football, but school officials and those from its fundraising arm are pleased with season ticket renewals.

Renewals across the board — including Tiger Athletic Foundation-controlled premium seating and the school-regulated Tradition Fund seats — are at about 95 percent, or roughly 1 percent down from last season’s renewal rate, officials told The Advocate.

The renewal rate is expected to increase as officials open new purchases to a waiting list of fans, said LSU senior associate athletic director Robert Munson and Rick Perry, president and chief operating officer of TAF.
