Why John Chavis leaving in ’14 was a blessing in disguise

Chavis is one of the longest tenured defensive coordinators in the SEC. Before heading to Baton Rouge in 2009, he was a successful DC at Tennessee for over a decade. He controversially left the Tigers after 2014 for the same position Texas A&M, which resulted in a nasty lawsuit.
