Turning to football, I enjoyed hearing from many of you about LSU quarterback Walker Howard entering the transfer portal. It always stings to lose a player who came to LSU with such great fanfare, and it’s even tougher when he’s a homegrown talent and LSU “legacy” player, like both Howard (son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard) and Jack Bech (nephew of former Tigers Blain and Brett Bech). As mentioned yesterday, I wouldn’t be surprised to see both of those St. Thomas More products suited up for TCU next season, though there hasn’t been any official word regarding where Howard is going.
