What goes into evaluating LSU’s future at tight end?

A position of great importance for LSU this offseason in starting to build up quality depth is tight end.
It’s a group that has largely been hard to know what to expect throughout the last several years but with Brian Kelly and this new staff, there’s an emphasis on prioritizing that spot in the offense moving forward. Kelly and tight ends coach/offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock did a good job of holding onto Mason Taylor in the last recruiting class and it just so happened that he was ready to be an every down player for the Tigers in year one.
