Johnson is also still considering opportunities from LSU, deciding to explore other options after Urban Meyer retired while beginning to build a relationship with Meyer’s successor Ryan Day.

He took three trips to Athens this spring including his first official the weekend of April 19. Johnson is planning an official to get back to LSU in May.
