In football news, Coach Ed Orgeron was the guest on 104.5 ESPN Radio’s Off the Bench program and had some interesting things to say about his Tigers.

From the get-go, Orgeron had lots of praise for his two nose guards, Tyler Shelvin and Apu Ika.

Though it was Ika who drew more rave reviews for his Spring Game performance, Orgeron said the competition has been very tight and in a scrimmage two Saturdays ago, it was Shelvin who was the most defensive lineman in the stadium.
