LSU football’s 2018 opponents at a glance: Auburn

After opening against Miami then hosting Southeastern the following week, LSU hits the road a trip to the The Plains to face an Auburn team that could be ranked in the Top 10.

The home team has had a huge advantage in this series, winning 16 of the last 18 contests. The two times the visitor won in that span was 2008 when LSU won, 26-21, and 2012 when Les Miles’ squad escaped with a 12-10 victory.

LSU upset No. 10 Auburn, 27-23, last season despite being down 20-0 with 12:50 left in the second quarter.
