April 4, 2018April 4, 2018 LSU Football Report Projecting the OL in LSU’s 2019 recruiting class With the addition of 3-star lineman Charles Turner, who is projected to play center for the Tigers, LSU has verbal commitments from three players in the trenches. That also includes 5-star prospect Kardell Thomas, who is a guard, and 3-star prospect Thomas Perry, who projects as either a guard or right tackle.That leaves a gaping need for tackle on the edge.
