LSU’s Jacob Phillips must play bigger role with Michael Divinity out

LSU linebacker Jacob Phillips leads the Tigers in tackles with 64 and ties for third in the SEC averaging eight stops a game.

With Michael Divinity no longer on the team, Phillips will have to play an even larger role on Dave Aranda’s unit on Saturday when the No. 2-ranked Tigers (8-0, 4-0 SEC) face off against the No. 3-ranked Crimson Tide (8-0, 5-0 SEC) in Tuscaloosa at 2:30 p.m. CT.
