Justin Jefferson one of draft class’ best big-play receivers

Jefferson had a season for the ages in 2019 for LSU.

Playing on the same team as Ja’Marr Chase, who won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s best wide receiver, Jefferson put up gaudy numbers.

The Tigers’ slot receiver finished his junior year with 111 receptions, which was second nationally, for 1,540 yards (third) and 18 touchdowns (second). Jefferson trailed only Chase, who had 20 touchdown catches.
