As a senior at Dunham in Baton Rouge, Stingley had 24 receptions for 678 yards and eight touchdowns, and he rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns.

During the 2019 season, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron mentioned playing Stingley on offense at some point down the road, though he admitted the conversation had been tabled until a later date.
