After LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels suffered an ankle injury in Saturday’s loss to Texas A&M, there is some concern about his status for the SEC Championship Game. Tigers coach Brian Kelly put those worries at ease Sunday, however, providing a positive update on the signal caller.

Kelly told reporters that though Daniels is wearing a boot at the moment, he is “optimistic” the quarterback will not only play this weekend, but be ready to practice by Tuesday.
