5 things we learned from Texas A&M’s win over UMass

Texas A&M has finally won a game for the first time in nearly two months after defeating the UMass Minutemen on Saturday afternoon 20-3. The rain-soaked defensive slugfest wasn’t pretty to watch but gave the Aggies their 4th win on the season while putting an end to their historic six-game skid, providing them a sliver of momentum heading into their season finale against LSU next Saturday night.

In freshman quarterback, Conner Weigman’s third start of the season, the young signal caller was not at his best in the pocket, mostly due to the rain and 30-degree weather mix that made every throw wobble due to the slickness on the ball but was still 11-19 for 191 yards and 1 touchdown on the afternoon.
