Lee played at Amite and was ranked the No. 10 wide receiver in Louisiana and No. 166 overall in the class of 2019 by 247Sports Composite. As a senior, he caught 42 passes and scored 22 touchdowns. He caught three passes for 118 yards and a touchdown to help secure the 2018 2A Louisiana state  championship.
