Plenty of former LSU Tigers were on display as the nation tuned in for the biggest NFL game of the season, Super Bowl LVI. While five were on the roster to play in the game, only four took the field. Defensive tackle Tyler Shelvin was inactive for the game.

As we noted, it was a storybook ending for the two elder former Tigers. Andrew Whitworth at age 40 finally climbed the mountain in his 16th season in the NFL. After missing out on the title in Super Bowl LII, the Rams were able to finally get the former BCS national champion a Super Bowl ring to go with it.
