
In this weekend’s Pro Bowl, former LSU players Tyrann Mathieu and Justin Jefferson finally got an opportunity to play against one another. Mathieu is a nine-year NFL veteran and a three-time All-Pro safety, while Jefferson just finished his second professional season and made his second consecutive Pro Bowl.
Mathieu finished this season with 76 tackles, six pass breakups, three interceptions and one touchdown. Jefferson ended his season with 108 receptions for 1,616 yards and 10 touchdowns. Prior to the game, Mathieu talked about the opportunity to finally play against Jefferson.
