LSU lost running back John Emery for the 2021 season. During Monday’s presser, head coach Ed Orgeron announced the junior became academically ineligible and will not play the remainder of the year.

The Tigers backfield still has fellow junior Ty Davis-Price, but freshmen Armoni Goodwin and Corey Kiner, also known as Thunder and Lightning, will have to fill the hole Emery leaves behind.
