BOOM! LSU’s top-ranked 2022 recruiting class just got stronger as Coach Ed Orgeron landed a commitment from DT Shone Washington (6-3, 297) of Warren Easton (New Orleans). Washington chose LSU over offers from more than a dozen schools, including Alabama, Florida, Texas, and Texas A&M. It’s always very telling to see a junior in high school with those kinds of offers, but what is especially interesting in Shone’s case is that he didn’t even play football last season.
