Following Dave Aranda’s departure to become head coach at Baylor, LSU needed a new defensive coordinator. Ed Orgeron decided to bring in a man who held the position before, hiring Youngstown State head coach Bo Pelini. Most notably, Pelini was the head coach at Nebraska from 2008-14.
