Desai had spent the past four years serving as the player personnel assistant at Texas A&M, including two years under Jimbo Fisher, which came on the heels of four-year stint in the recruiting and personnel departments at LSU. A New Orleans, Louisiana native, Desai graduated from LSU with degrees in sports administration and sports and fitness administration/management.
