LSU’s 2021 recruiting class took a major step forward with its 12th commitment, its first offensive lineman, and its second “Garrett.” Yesterday, shortly before noon, Top 100 offensive tackle Garrett Dillenger (6-5, 280) of Clarkston, Mich., announced his commitment to LSU with this well-crafted video. A few minutes later, LSU’s other “Garrett” in the 2021 class, quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, tweeted a graphic depicting himself protected by Dellinger. “With Dellinger, nobody gets to me,” it said. “Don’t even think about it!”
