One of the amazing aspects of LSU’s run last season is that it wasn’t all that expected. Joe Burrow seemed like a strong candidate to take a step forward after an up-and-down first season as the Tigers’ starter, but instead he took a massive leap. Few could have predicted LSU to go 15-0 and dominate the way that it did or for Burrow to throw 60 touchdown passes and run away with the Heisman Trophy en route to becoming the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
