After releasing his top-15 schools in March, Gilliam has received 12 additional scholarship offers. LSU offered Gilliam on May 13, and he has been in consistent contact with the coaching staff since. “That was a huge offer from my perspective,” Gilliam said. “Having your head coach actually coach your position was a huge thing.”
