It’s pretty standard for quarterbacks to remain untouchable in practice but, considering the season Burrow had in 2019, it makes sense that Ed Orgeron and the rest of the Tigers coaching staff wouldn’t even let the defense get anywhere near him. Burrow led the team to the College Football Playoff championship, won the Heisman Trophy and became the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft — but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t some built-up frustration on part of the defense.
