Ed Orgeron and his staff made the final six schools for the No. 1 tight end on 247Sports, Council Bluffs (Iowa) Lewis Central standout Thomas Fidone, he announced on Twitter on Monday.

The 6-5, 220-pound prospect ranks on 247Sports as the No. 40 overall prospect in the country and No. 1 overall prospect in Iowa. On the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Fidone comes in as the No. 99 overall prospect in the country, No. 2 tight end nationally and No. 1 overall prospect in Iowa.
