One of the greatest linebackers in program history, Devin White left Baton Rouge for the NFL a year early and missed out on LSU’s first national championship in more than a decade last season.

But his legacy as a former Butkus Award winner now lives on forever on the walls outside of Tiger Stadium.White acknowledged a tweet from a follower on Sunday showing his name on a plaque signifying the program’s first-ever Butkus winner.
