Very few college football programs have been blessed with the amount of talent and wins as the LSU Tigers have over the past decade. The Tigers have had pockets of tremendous success in their history, claiming a national title in 1958 and fielding high-achieving teams in the early ’70s and mid-80s.

But they truly started to become a blue-blood program in 2001 when then-head coach Nick Saban lifted the Tigers to a 10-win season and built towards a national championship run in 2003.
