It’s perhaps appropriate, says Lafayette artist Tony Bernard, that his interest as a sports fan helped to inspire him to create a poster than commemorates what many are calling the greatest season in LSU football history.

Bernard, whose variety of artistic endeavors have received statewide and national acclaim, said his LSU poster, released last week at Bodemuller’s in Opelousas, is a creation that has taken him several years to complete.
