Another LSU football analyst has landed an FBS on-field coaching job.

Lead defensive analyst Ronnie Wheat has accepted the safeties coach position with the Nevada Wolfpack, the Geaux247 staff confirmed with a source.

Wheat joined the LSU staff in 2013, eventually becoming an analyst under former defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, where he worked with the linebackers and helped with recruiting on the defensive side of the football.
