Ole Miss wasted no time in finding a replacement for ousted head coach Matt Luke after canning him following a tumultuous 4-8 campaign in 2019. They found their man in FAU’s Lane Kiffin, inking him to a five-year, $21 million contract.

Kiffin, despite being just 44 years of age, has already had himself quite the journey throughout the football ranks. On Tuesday, he even confirmed the long-floated rumor that he almost joined Ed Orgeron’s coaching staff at LSU a few years ago.
