
The 2019 football season is over for Louisiana teams, but it will go down as one of the best ever for the area and for the state.
Highlighting the season was LSU’s 15-0 national championship campaign led by Larose native Ed Orgeron that featured numerous individual awards, including the Heisman Trophy won by quarterback Joe Burrow, an SEC title and a national championship win over Clemson that left many saying the purple and gold Tigers were one of the best college football teams ever.
