In a game where LSU’s Heisman-winning quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 493 yards, seven touchdowns, and broke numerous college football records, receiver Justin Jefferson may have been the best player on the field.
The junior receiver broke the College Football Playoff records for both receiving yards and touchdowns, scoring four in the first half of Saturday’s Peach Bowl as LSU beat Oklahoma 63-28 in one of the most lopsided College Football Playoff games ever.
