LSU’s Edwards-Helaire opens up on rehab, status for Clemson

LSU junior running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been one of the staples of the offense in Baton Rouge this season, totaling 1,290 yards and an SEC-best 16 touchdowns going into the 2019 College Football Playoffs.

But a hamstring injury suffered in practice a little less than two weeks before the matchup put his status for the game against Oklahoma in jeopardy, with head coach Ed Orgeron moving through the week by labeling Edwards-Helaire as day-to-day.
