Why isn’t Tre’Davious White getting more consideration for the NFL’s Defensive MVP award?

It’s a question that former NFL cornerback Antonio Cromartie asked on Twitter on Monday. Cromartie noted that both players have similar stats and went as far as to say that White is his defensive MVP.
