LSU’s Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be better off skipping Oklahoma game

As great a player and as versatile an athlete LSU tailback Clyde Edwards-Helaire is, he should sit out the No. 1 Tigers’ national semifinal game against No. 4 Oklahoma on Saturday (3 p.m., ESPN) in Atlanta.

Edwards-Helaire suffered a hamstring injury last Tuesday, and Coach Ed Orgeron has been tight-lipped about the severity of the injury and Edwars-Helaire’s availability for the game.
