The Heisman Trophy is headed back to Baton Rouge.

For the first time since 1959 when Billy Cannon won the award, an LSU football player has been awarded the Heisman Trophy, with quarterback Joe Burrow hearing his name called at the PlayStation Theater on Saturday night in Times Square.

Burrow, surrounded by family and coaches, took to the podium to accept college football’s highest honor, where he shared some thoughts on the road to this moment, his appreciation for everyone that helped him along the way and more.
