When LSU quarterback Joe Burrow stepped onto the stage to receive the 2019 Heisman Trophy, Bunnie Cannon sat in the PlayStation Theater in Times Square with a smile on her face.

Cannon is a familiar face around campus in Baton Rouge, working in the Tiger Athletic Foundation as the LSU Advancement and Executive Director for planned giving, stewardship and donor relations.

But she’s most recognizable for her last name.
