A highly-rated Mississippi wideout has decided to back off his pledge to the in-state Bulldogs and instead commit to rival LSU.

Provine WR Deion Smith announced his flip on Sunday night via his Twitter account.

The Jackson native is listed at over 6-1, 172 pounds and rated the No. 2 Mississippi product, No. 16 wide receiver and No. 90 prospect overall nationally for the 2021 class on the 247Sports Composite.
