But after the selection committee ranked Ohio State above LSU, some fans and analysts have a conspiracy theory.The idea? The committee is going to wind up ranking Ohio State at No. 1 so that when it includes Alabama at No. 4, LSU won’t have a first-round matchup with a team it already beat.
