The Kansas City Chiefs were struggling to get anything going offensively in the first half against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night in Mexico City, but Tyrann Mathieu came up with a big play on defense to give them a much-needed spark.

In the second quarter, the former LSU Tigers star baited Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers into a throw over the middle of the field and made him pay for it, picking off the pass and returning it 35 yards to the set the offense up inside the 10-yard line.
