LSU versus Alabama is still 10 days away, but that has not stopped media outlets and both fanbases from diving into the huge matchup of No. 1 against No. 2.

The last time there was this much hype surrounding the annual regular season matchup was in 2011 when the Tigers’ trip to Tuscaloosa was dubbed the “Game of the Century.”

LSU escaped with a 9-6 overtime win and that was the last time the Tigers walked away from a battle against the Crimson Tide as victors.
